Arezoo

Arezoo, the girl who I know her from the very early years of her childhood been my favorite model. Though, i didn't have a chance to sketch or paint her live, I have made several portrate and figurative of her. This is what i made it from a photo that i took of her with different composition.

Girles in sea side

The original of this sketch has published in one of the latest books of Ch. Reid watercolorist. I liked the setting and simple washes of the bodies.

I like this pastel work very much. Why ? bcause I spent quite some time to do the shadows with soft pastel pencil. also I resisted hard not to overwork and leave it as it looked.

Olya

I had the image of this girl in standing position.I seated her in a seaside setting.

watercolor/pastel

I did this image inwatercolorand pastel with some changes in colors and composition. Painting from photos is fun and good when you don't have live model at hand. Of course it isbeer to do some changes according to your tase and talent to the original composition.

This grafite drawing with light washes of watercolor in backgrond in done from a photo of Tatyana in David's nude. This image is part of the whole figure which I rathered to crop it in order to compose give the feeling of more portrature .

The sketches and paintings posted are done with collaboration with a photographer named david who mainly does nude phography. He has created a painting gallery in his site with my paintings of his models.

sleepy sketches

These serious of sketches was done in last Feb. during my trip from Toronto to Tehran in Amsredam (schiphol) airport. As you see and a friend mentioned these are slepy sketches. So I did titled it the same.

New drawings

It took me so long to stop by at my blog and post new works. Since last posting, I've done many sketches and drawings which will post it from now on gradualy. I returned to Toronto again in early Nov. o8 and hope to stay here for a while.
